Custom Residence on the Wind River in Southern Washington State.  The home incorporates several green technologies including insulated concrete formwork, structural insulated panels and an in-floor radient heating system.  Natural wood and stone finishes help relate the home to its wooded surrounds. Interior spaces are arranged around a centrally located great room.  This tall space contains a mezzanine nook-space used as an office, and also the central staicase that connects the nook, main floor and daylight basement spaces below.  Off of the great room is a sun-oriented wrap around porch that looks down a wooded hillside toward the river.  The T-shaped plan also incorporates a generous covered entry porch with decorative punched window openings.  Located behind these openings is a special room containing a lap pool.
